Dr T P O’Brien (GP - Senior Partner)

I was born in Coventry trained in Leeds and moved to leafy Shropshire in 2002.
I am married with a young daughter and we enjoy visiting National Trust and English Heritage attractions.
Dr D Ebenezer (GP - Managing Partner)
MB ChB MRCGP DRCOG CIDC PGCME Birmingham 2006
I trained at Birmingham University qualifying in 2006 and I completed my GP training in 2011. I joined the team at Wellington Medical Practice in January 2014.
I enjoy all aspects of General practice but my areas of interest include training future GPs at the practice. I am also the managing partner at the practice since the 1st November 2016.
I am married to Jo who is also a GP partner at the practice and we have four boys. We live in a small village near Weston Park. Four young children keep us busy at home.
Dr N Singh (GP - Clinical Lead Partner)

Having graduated from India I trained as a GP in Black Country.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice and my special interests include musculoskeletal conditions and joint injections.
I am married with 2 children who keep me busy out of work.
My relaxation therapy at the end of day consists of some basic DIY, gardening and playing cricket with the children.
I can speak different languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and some passable Tamil.

I grew up in Somerset before moving to Birmingham to start my medical training. This is where I met my husband, who is also a GP partner at Wellington Medical Practice.
I completed my GP training in 2014. I worked in several surgeries in Wolverhampton before joining the team at Wellington in November 2016 as a salaried GP.
I joined the partnership on the 1st April 2017 and look forward to help run the practice for the future with the other partners.
Outside of work I am a busy mum of four boys.
Dr R Kaur (F) (GP Partner)
I trained at Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India and then finished my GP training in the Black Country North in 2017.
I have been a GP Partner in the Practice since April 2017. My special interests include palliative care.
I have a keen interest in gardening and have two children.

I grew up in Bolton and studied Medicine at the University of Manchester, qualifying in 1999. I completed by GP training in Wolverhampton in 2011 and have worked in Wolverhampton ever since.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but my areas of interest include training future GPs at the Wolverhampton practice, along with musculoskeletal conditions and minor surgery/joint injections.
I am married with 2 children who keep me busy out of work.
To relax I attend Pilates, play badminton and like to watch cricket matches

Patsy Clifton, Nurse Manager/Advanced Nurse Practitioner
I trained in Birmingham, completing my nurse training many years ago then working in A+E/MAU and ITU. I made the jump to Sexual Health and then GP land whilst doing my post graduate ANP course and prescribing.
Within the practice I assess, diagnose and prescribe for patients for a variety of conditions, but my specialist interests are Minor Ops and sexual health/contraception as well as managing the treatment room team.
Outside of work, I am married with a young son and we enjoy roaming around Europe in our camper van. I am also Snowy Owl at a Brownie Unit and a keen campanologist!
Helen Elves, Advanced Nurse Practitioner
I trained in Sandwell in the West Midlands working mainly in acute medicine, A&E and then finally primary care. I have 30 years clinical experience and have worked in various clinical and managerial roles within the NHS and pharmacutical industry.
I work in practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner working alongside the medical and admin team to provide care for a variety of conditions.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and travelling

Krystian Dawiec - MSc PT, PGDip MSK MED, NMP, MSOM
I was awarded BSc Physiotherapy in 2010 and in 2012, I extended my qualifications to MSc degree. I started my career as a Neurological Physiotherapist and letter I began to work as Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in West Midlands.
In 2015 I accomplished a PG Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine through The Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine. At the end of my academic year I was awarded Saunders’ and Kesson’s Prize for my achievements.
In 2016 in began working as Extended Scope Practitioner at Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (MCATS) clinic and First Point of Access at primary care practices across North Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Worcestershire. During this time I completed The Diploma in Injection Therapy. In 2017 I achieved an Independent and Supplementary Prescribing Certificate at Bournemouth University.
I am currently a Consultant MSK Physiotherapist at Wellington Medical Practice in Shropshire. This role involves providing first point of access service in primary care for patients suffering with musculoskeletal conditions, practice of medical diagnosis within musculoskeletal speciality, specialist investigation and medicines prescribing.
I also take part in helping with medical students and GP trainees training and delivering CPD lectures to staff members and other clinical practitioners in Shropshire.
In 2018 I started MSc of Advanced Clinical Practice at The University of Cumbria to further extend scope of my skills into Primary Care Medicine. Therefore, I also see patients during Urgent Care Clinics.
Our Urgent Care Practitioner (UCP)
I was born and grew up in the Wolverhampton but have been lucky enough to live in many different place including the USA and Italy, but now call Shropshire home.
I completed my Paramedic Degree at the University of Hertfordshire and then worked for the Ambulance Service in Bedfordshire and Luton whilst gaining valuable experience. I’ve always had a keen interest in Primary Care so undertook extra training to be able to work in that environment. I’m currently studying for my Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice to further my knowledge and skill base.
As well as seeing patients in the surgery I’m also going to be doing the home visiting for the practice which I’m looking forward to as it’s going to give me good variety in my working day.
Our Nurse Practitioners - Tina, Sunny and Anne
I'm on of the Nurse Practitioners. On a day to day basis I run urgent care clinics for acute medical issues. I assess, examine and diagnose, I instigate appropriate investigations and referrals and can consult with other clinicians if needed. I also have an interest in mental health and run mental health, depression /dementia and learning disability clinics which can be pre-booked.
Sunita Kurian-Downer – Nurse Practitioner
I trained in Shrewsbury, qualifying through Staffordshire University in 2005. I worked for 18 years in the hospital, starting as a HCA before and during my Nurse training. I worked on a renal ward, then general medical, surgical wards and outpatients with the Colorectal and Vascular Surgeons.
I specialised in Oncology for a time, first working in the chemotherapy day centre, then Cancer Clinical Trials, then as a support CNS for Skin Cancer. I am currently doing an MSc in Clinical Oncology with the University of Birmingham after being awarded a scholarship by Cancer Research UK.
I worked as a Specialist Nurse in Vascular Surgery, and then as Tissue Viability Lead. In this Practice, I bring my varied skills and experience together to do the Urgent Care Clinics, Cancer Care reviews, Cryotherapy, and offer advice on complex wounds. I am constantly learning and developing.
In my spare time, I like to garden. I help with community charity events to help keep Petton Church in Shropshire open, and bring neighbours and friends together for social events. I have a Foundation Degree in Complementary Therapies, and enjoy doing treatments for friends and family in my spare time.

I studied medicine at King's College London graduating in 2017, before joining the West Midlands North Foundation Program.
My 4 month community rotation is here at Wellington Medical Practice, which began April this year. I have an interest in general practice, and will fortunately be starting a GP training post immediately after this placement in London this August.
Outside of work I enjoy cycling, cooking and playing the piano

Worked as a Paediatrician for several years and to diversify my portfolio, I’m currently training to be a General Practitioner.
I will be spending the next 4months in the Wellington Medical Practice and it has been a wonderful learning experience.
For leisure, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading novels and listening to music.
